Is the imaginary 'god' all out of miracle dust?

Seems that in the old testament, one couldn't walk from Jericho to Damascus without stumbling over a miracle every mile or two. Now, with the advent of educated people and video cameras, miracles have stopped happening. Just got to wonder... has the imaginary 'god' run completely out of 'miracle dust'? Or are the stories in the 'bible' just stories, meant for the ignorant and not-too-bright?
