How do you know if you have questions/answers on Tumblr?

I am new to Tumblr. And I do not how to work anything but would the questions only be in the envelope box? Meaning message box or is there something else to look at that would show me questions and stuff like that. I have asked a few answers to my followers and I do not know what to click if I got a message.
