Shias: what is your view about the ummayad masjid in damascus?

it doesnt make sense if anyone says will you go to karbala coz imam was martyred there... we shias go there...coz its a place where our imam had to face lots of problems and he saved islam... yazeed(LLLLLLLLLLLL) killed imam hussain(A.S). and after beheading imam s head he kept it in that place... so shias visit the place to remember our imam and the problems he faced to save islam...
