Can someone name the species of this fish, please?

Okay, I know this seems like a stupid question, but I've seen this fish somewhere and I can't remember its name. It's silver, about a foot-or-so long, and has an EXTREMELY streamlined body. I mean, it's like the Tyra Banks of the fish world.
